As an official DHL Sales Partner, LetzShip has access to discounted volume-based DHL rates that individual customers booking directly cannot access. You get the exact same DHL network, tracking and reliability, just at a lower price.

No. LetzShip provides a transparent, all-inclusive quote upfront covering shipping, packing (if needed) and customs handling. The only additional costs would be destination country import duties for non-EU shipments, which are set by that country's customs authority, not by LetzShip.

Delivery times depend on destination and service level. Express shipping typically takes 1–2 business days for nearby EU destinations and 2–3 days for further EU and UK destinations. Economy shipping takes 2–7 business days depending on distance. Non-EU destinations like the USA or India typically take 3–5 days via express.

Yes. EU destinations benefit from free movement without customs clearance, so delivery is generally faster and more predictable. Belgium, for example, often arrives within 1 business day given its proximity to Luxembourg.

Delays can occasionally happen due to customs processing, weather, or high-volume periods like holidays. If your shipment is delayed, check your tracking number first for the latest status, then contact our team via WhatsApp or email and we'll follow up with DHL directly on your behalf.

Customs & Restrictions

Documentation requirements, prohibited items, and import duty information.

It depends on the destination. EU-to-EU shipments (e.g. Luxembourg to France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Italy) require no customs documentation. Shipments to non-EU destinations like the UK, USA, or India require a commercial invoice and customs declaration, which LetzShip prepares for you as part of the service.

Prohibited items include dangerous goods such as explosives and flammables, illegal substances, certain lithium batteries, perishable food, and other materials restricted by DHL and international shipping regulations. If you're unsure whether an item can be shipped, contact us before booking.

For shipments within the EU, no import duties apply. For non-EU destinations, the recipient may be liable for import duties and taxes set by that country's customs authority, calculated based on the declared value of the parcel. We can advise on typical duty ranges before you book.

Weight and size limits vary depending on the destination and service chosen, generally up to 70kg per parcel for standard DHL Express shipments. For larger or unusually shaped items, contact us directly to discuss options.

Yes. Our team specialises in packing fragile items such as electronics, glassware, and artwork using protective foam, bubble wrap, and custom-sized boxes to minimise the risk of damage in transit.

Tracking & Support

Tracking your shipment and getting help if something goes wrong.

Once your shipment is booked, you'll receive a DHL tracking number by email. Enter it on our tracking page or directly on the DHL website to see real-time status updates at every stage of delivery.

Tracking numbers can take up to 2 hours to activate after booking, and international shipments may take 24–48 hours for the first status update to appear. Double-check there are no extra spaces or characters in the number. If it's still not updating after that window, message us on WhatsApp with your reference number.

First check your tracking details for the latest status. If your parcel appears lost or arrives damaged, contact our team immediately via WhatsApp or email with your tracking number and photos if applicable, and we'll open a claim with DHL on your behalf.
